The Oyo State Agency for Youth Development is a service organ of the Government to mobilize, guide, encourage and empower the youths of this State with a view of preparing them for smooth integration physically, socially, psychologically and productively into the mainstream of the society.
The Agency for Youths Development formerly known as the Oyo State Youth Development Council has its name changed through a law enacted in 2002 i.e. Oyo State Agency for Youth Development Law 2002.
